Bau is, by it's very nature, a stupid web comic about two idiots that imagine lots of stupid things, love comics, and have a tendency to be slightly argumentative.

It is in no way connected with that venerable German architectural publication bauwelt, although I readily admit to some stylistic similarities (after all, who could not resist their bold use of bright yellow against a seductively silky dark background?).
